Welcome to the 3rd Grade Cougar Family!

I am excited about joining the Converse Cougar family. Allow me to introduce myself. My story begins in the windy city of Chicago, Illinois. My path eventually led me to San Antonio,Texas, where I married my husband, and started my family. We have raised three beautiful grown children. 

I received my associate's degree from Palo Alto College in 2011. I moved on to Texas A&M San Antonio, where I completed my teaching certificate and received my bachelors degree in 2013. This is my 10th year in education. It isn't just about grades and numbers for me, but rather building relationships with my students. Our classroom is a family community where every person is respected, valued and nurtured to be their best self. I am a firm believer in making mistakes... as long as we learn from them!
