Hello! I am Coach Lopez, the Physical Education (PE) Teacher at Converse Elementary School. 

Here is a little bit about me: I was born and raised in Madera, California. Over there in Sunny Cali, I attended California State University, Fresno (Fresno State) and I studied Kinesiology with a focus on physical education for students at all grade levels. I moved here to Texas in August 2022, a year after I graduated from Fresno State. For the 2022-2023 school year, I was a PE paraprofessional at an elementary school outside of Judson ISD. Now, I am a first-year teacher at Converse Elementary teaching PE. This is a dream come true to be able to see all students come every day to have fun moving!

My mission is to give students a structured PE program while accommodating all levels of motor development. The goal for students is to participate in and enjoy physical activity without thinking that it's a "workout" or a "chore."
