I'm excited to be a part of the Converse Elementary 5th Grade Team 2023-2024!  Go Cougars!!

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas.  I've also lived in Dallas, Pilot Point, and San Antonio, Texas.  I love road trips and salt water fishing.  I'm often on the Third Coast and it's my goal to score a Grand Slam before the year is over!  

I've been teaching for ten years and have been at Judson ISD for five years.  I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Education in 2003 from the University of Texas at Austin.  In 2017, I earned a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  I'm certified as a General Education Teacher in Early Childhood through Fourth Grade and Fourth through Eighth Grades.  In addition, I'm a certified Reading Specialist.
