I am so excited about teaching 5th Grade for the 2023-2024 school year at Converse Elementary.  

I am originally from Colorado. I moved to Texas in 2005, to be closer to my husband's family.  I graduated from Texas A&M San Antonio in 2018 where I received my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education.  I also have an Associate's of Art in Education from San Antonio College.  I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and STEAM.  

When I am not in the classroom, I spend time with my family.  I have just celebrated my 19th anniversary with my husband.  We have two wonderful teenage girls, Maddie and Emily.  During the school year, we run between volleyball games and debate tournaments. As a family, when we have free time we like to cook and bake new foods together.  We love to hike and travel as a family over the summer.
