I am excited to teach your child this year for Readlng/ Language Arts/ Social Studies in 5th grade at Converse Elementary.    We are going to learn and excel in everything we do each and every day.  Throughout the day we will work on fluency, morphology, reading, and writing through all subjects.  

Let me tell you a little about myself.  I am a mom of two (James and Justin)  and have one dog (Koda Mae).  This will be my fifteenth year of teaching.  I have taught Social Studies, Math, and Reading/ Language Arts.  I  have a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas @ Tyler and a Masters in Education from Texas A&M @ Kingsville.  I recently completed all of my courses for my principal certification through Lamar University.  I currently hold the following certifications: EC-6 Generalist and 4-8 ELAR/Social Studies.
