Greetings!

I am Coach Mark Crump, I am entering my first year of teaching Physical Education and Health here at Woodlake Hills Middle School!

I am a proud product of the Eastside of San Antonio, after high school, I attended the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) and Texas Southern University (Go Tigers) graduating with a B.S. in Sport Management-Business. I have an extensive background in athletic operations, non-profit management, and of course teaching!

I am very excited to get my boots on the ground and working with my new students!

My personal philosophy of teaching is that I believe all students have a right to learn, no matter their socioeconomic background, race, or gender. All students under my care are allowed to be their own unique person in a stimulating inclusive environment, where I strive to assist them in the cultivation and development of their emotional, mental, physical, and social well-being. I have a strong belief that my students enter my room with the highest expectations of themselves. Students have enough self-discipline and self-efficacy that is conducive to their learning, so that I can provide a safe and caring environment where they are allowed to respectfully speak their minds and own their truths. Leading with love and do what I feel is in the best interest of my students and school. Know that, if no one has ever told you before, that they love you, know that I love you. Always have, Always will.
