Welcome to Algebra 1 at Wagner High School! My name is John Nation and I am very excited about being with you all this year. In our courses, the students will learn many mathematical equations and strategies to help prepare them for the future workforce. My goal is to not only prepare the students for their careers, but also instill values that will propel them in life. 

My aim this year is to make sure the students enjoy learning Algebra 1.  I will be taking your child out of their normal comfort zones, and I will challenge them daily in efforts of bringing the best version of themselves to the surface.  This is a goal that will require efforts on my behalf and you the parents.  I believe together we can achieve greatness.

I will also  be an a assistant coach for Wagner Girl's Track/Field.

Once again I'm super excited to teach your children this year and looking forwad to what we can accomplish.
