My name is Jesse Pieper and I am very excited to be part of the Metzger Mustang family! This is my first year at Metzger and I will be serving as a 7th grade math teacher. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve all your students and be a part of their academic and personal development.

I did not always value education. In fact, I barely graduated high school. Instead of going to college or pursuing a skilled trade I decided to join the Marine Corps, and it was the best decision I have ever made. I learned discipline, respect, resiliency, and how to take pride in my work and pursue excellence in every single task, no matter how small. This is how I approach teaching. I believe that every single student has the potential to do great things, but only if they are willing to embrace the challenge, work hard, and learn from their mistakes. I promise to do everything in my ability to help show them the way.

Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in both the private and non-profit industries in various roles. I also continued my service to our country and am currently a Soldier in the Army National Guard. I have been married to an amazing woman for over 13 years and together we have 3 children ages 12, 9, and 8. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing music, building stuff, and training Mixed Martial Arts.
