Hello! I am Ms. Berumen. I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and have been living in San Antonio for over two years now. In the spring of 2023, I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Before attending Texas State, I was at Austin Community College and received my Associates in Arts of Teaching. I've worked with children ever since I was 16 years old. From babysitting, to working in the YMCA daycare, and being a childcare provider for Hays CISD, I realized it was a passion of mine to shape young minds. This is my first year as a teacher and I am over the moon about teaching my dream grade level - 2nd grade! ♥
