Ms. Jasmine Bracy
Hello Parents and Guardians!
My name is Jasmine Bracy, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as your child's new third grade teacher! Born and raised in San Antonio, I am a proud fan of the San Antonio Spurs (#GoSpursGo!). I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014, majoring in Early Childhood Education. I currently reside in Converse, Texas with my wonderful fiancé and my adorable two-year-old daughter. My favorite pastime is binge watching tv shows, drinking coffee, going on trips and playing with my daughter.
I have been working in the education field for 6 years now! It all started when I began my career as an after-school care teacher at a public charter school. Over time, I was asked to become a substitute teacher and within a few months, I was promoted to co-teacher, and soon became the lead Accelerated Reader Facilitator. After two years, I was promoted to a first-grade lead teacher for another three years. I then taught 4th grade in Hutto, Texas for one year. Now, I am excited to bring my experience and passion to Woodlake Elementary as your child's third grade teacher!
I chose to join the amazing team at Judson Independent School District (JISD) because I wanted to be a part of a community that truly cares for each other. I have been inspired by the level of dedication and commitment the staff at JISD has towards providing an amazing learning experience for their scholars.
Each day in our classroom, we will strive to grow and learn together. I believe that every student is unique and has their own strengths and weaknesses. As a teacher, it is my job to help each student reach their full potential. I am dedicated to ensuring that your child feels supported and encouraged throughout the school year.
I am committed to keeping open communication with parents and guardians. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. You can expect to hear back from me within 24 hours. Throughout the year, we will have many opportunities to connect and collaborate.
I am excited to embark on this new adventure with each and every one of you. Together, we can make this a successful and memorable year for your child.
Thank You!
