Mrs. Perez is a 2nd grade teacher at Masters Elementary. She has been at this campus since 2022. She graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies where she was also the recipient of the University Commendation Award. She began her teaching career in San Antonio, Texas as a Teach for America Corps Member where she was the regional nominee for the Sue Lehman national teaching award. In addition, she was a part of the grassroots organizing efforts of SA Rise (San Antonio Rising in Solidarity for Equity). She is a graduate of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Alexander Briseno Leadership Program. She has served as an Assistant School Leader, Dean of Students, and Academic Dean. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, training at the gym, and spending time with her husband, Dr. LePort.
