Hello, my name is Brenda Bekar. After 10 years of serving students as first a substitute and then a paraprofessional, I accepted a Pre-K 4 position here at Woodlake Elementary and am now in my second year of teaching. I currently hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and I am currently completing my teacher’s certification with Texas Teachers of Tomorrow. My family lives in the Judson ISD community and I love being a part of it.  My husband and I just celebrated 21 years of marriage and have 2 sons that make us proud every day. I believe building strong relationships with my students promotes learning, and I will continue to create an environment that builds confidence, creativity, and a love for school because that is the Woodlake way!
