Cortney Taylor began her career in corporate America in 2005. During her time with Farmers Insurance, she earned her B.S with a minor in human resources from Wayland Baptist University and then her MBA with a minor in management, also from Wayland Baptist University. In 2023, she joined Judson ISD as a 4th grade educator at Salinas Elementary. 

Cortney's 3 children are all Judson ISD products, including one son that attends The University of Oklahoma on a full academic scholarship, a daughter that was the 1st female wrestler to attend state at VMHS, and another daughter at Veterans Memorial HS.
