Rocket Bands Earn Sweepstakes

The Judson High School Rocket Bands proved again that excellence is their standard.  At the UIL Concert-Sight Reading Contest, the Varsity and Non-Varsity bands earned Sweepstakes and the Sub-Non Varsity band received a Superior rating on the Concert Stage. Congratulations to these students

Signings for Rocket Swimmer, Volleyball Players

It's great to see students take their athletic talent to the next level as a way to open the higher education door.  Three Lady Rockets recently signed on to take their skills to the college level and we are proud of them...but likely not half as proud as their families. These girls have worked hard and have earned the chance to take the next step.  Rocket Swimmer Faith Lawler will be slicing through the water at the University of the Cumberlands next year and Rocket Volleyball Players Danielle Pavlicek will be serving it up at Schreiner University while Karizma Brooks will be spiking it at Johnson C. Smith University.  Congratulations to everyone.

Rocket Choir Sings To Highest Marks

The Judson Choirs recently competed in the UIL Region 11 Choir Concert and Sight Reading Contest and did incredibly well.  The event was hosted at Judson High School and with four Rocket choirs participating it was a busy day, but well worth it.  Every Judson group earned the highest rating of Sweepstakes and received a Superior rating from every judge.  These are quality groups under great direction.  Directors are David Short and Tiffany Cristo.  Congratulations.

Judson Criminal Justice Team Score Awards

Judson High School Criminal Justice students recently competed at the Southwest Texas Junior College Police Explorers event. They traveled to Uvalde and did not come home empty handed. The team brought home several awards. Their efforts and hard work paid off by gaining 3rd place in Felony Traffic Stop and 2nd place in the Mile Relay. Congratulations to the JHS Criminal Justice team!
