Week 6: T-Birds and Eagles, Patriots and Owls

All three high schools came out of week 5 looking awesome, but with all the lopsided victories, the challenge is to stay challenged. There will be times further down the road where these teams will need to dig down deep to pull through for a victory.  So far, the games are great opportunities for other players to get some valuable experience and playing time that will come in handy late in the year. Resting starters when scores get like that is also beneficial.  This week, Wagner takes on Brackenridge and Veterans Memorial will meet Highlands. The Judson Rockets have a bye this week.   Let's keep cheering these players on to do their best one game at a time!

Week 5: Rattlers, Bears, and Eagles On Menu

It's week five in the high school football regular season and district play continues. All three schools are doing well.  Judson and Wagner are both undefeated in district play and are showing they have some high-octane offenses.  Veterans Memorial at 2-2 overall is also showing it will likely make some noise when playoff spots are decided.  Judson travels to San Marcos to meet up with the Rattlers...Wagner and Veterans are at Rutledge taking on Edison and Brackenridge respectively.  Let's keep the "Big-Mo" going and support our teams.

A Full Menu Of Football: Week 4

Week 4 of this high school football season sees all three high schools in district play.  Judson's last game of non-district play was canceled because of bad weather, but this week they start off district play with a bang at Rutledge as they take on Steele.  Wagner will play Lanier in a Saturday night game at Rutledge, while Veterans will travel to Alamo Stadium to play Edison Friday night.  It's all for real, for all three teams this time around, so let's support them as they put all their hard work into play.
