Rocket Band Finishes Strong Contest Season

The Judson High School Rocket Marching Band is a quality group of student musicians who have worked hard this fall.  That work is not just in rehearsals for football game halftime shows...in fact that's still going on.  But this has also been marching band contest season where high school marching bands across the state and country compete in a mix of musical and marching precision skills.  Quite possibly the most successful marching season yet for Judson High School. Take a look below. Many thanks to the band parents and congratulations to these students and Judson Director of Bands Mr. Jeffrey Keyes.

Band Extravaganza At Rutledge Stadium

All the color, music and excitement of a high school football halftime show was on display recently at the JISD Band Extravaganza.  All three comprehensive high school marching bands and the 5 middle school band programs were on display at Rutledge Stadium to show family, friends and fans the importance of music education. But of course there's just the joy of seeing these students perform, right?
