Hopkins Reading With Help From Wagner Athletes

Hopkins Elementary celebrated "Read Across America" Day with Wagner Football players greeting the students as they came to school and reading to the kindergarten classrooms. We also had some students dress up in celebration of Dr. Suess' Birthday. Great community spirit. 

  

Black History Recognition At Raptor Campus

Black history recognition comes in all sorts of ways of spotlighting the contributions of African Americans to our society and Judson Early College Academy spent time to feature a number of those ways.  JECA teacher Derrick Landry led the event on the Raptor campus with examples of music, dress, dance, and song.  It was an enlightening and energizing event that engaged the students and brought to light the roots of some aspects of our culture and society that we sometimes take for granted.

Checking In With Yes Our Kids Can: Copperfield

Here is a slice of life that shows the difference that the Yes Our Kids Can program is making. This is Copperfield Elementary at Judson ISD. The students at an early age know the importance of college, coming to school every day and believing in themselves. 

 

Wagner Boys Still Takin' To The Hoop In Playoffs

The Wagner Boys Basketball team is still a huge factor the rest of the way through the 5A State UIL Boys Basketball Playoffs.  They have worked and played extremely hard and are seeing an incredible run of their own.  Let's see them through this playoff season and support them all the way to the final game!. 

This Championship Deserves A Parade!

The Judson Lady Rocket Basketball team won it all this year in a nip-and-tuck battle that saw them victorious over a great DeSoto team 49-46. Judson ISD and the City of Converse want to host a parade in their honor and we hope the community will join us.  Here are the exciting details.
