Hopkins ES Gets Generous Gift From Dollar General

Judson ISD is always thankful for our community and business partners. One of the most generous has to be Dollar General.  Representatives of the company paid Hopkins Elementary School a visit carrying a very big check.  They donated $10,000 for literacy incentives for students.  What a wonderful gift...certainly something to be thankful for.  Thank you Dollar General!!

Igniting Passion For Reading

Captain Ramon and Firefighter Oefinger from the Converse Fire Department took time to joined Miller's Point Students in the pursuit of Literacy. It's one more way to grow a love for reading in students. In the words of Dr. Suess, " The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” Thank you to these community members for showing that people who love to read come from all different walks of life.

Our Schools Honor Our Veterans-UPDATED

It was a day to honor those who serve our great country. The Veterans Memorial HS Color Guard presented the colors and students paid tribute to each branch of the military. Parents, family members, and staff were honored during the ceremony and provided with a brunch as we finished off the celebration learning about the history of TAPS. Thanks to Student Council, The Kindness Crew, the Dainty Daisies and Dr. Gallegos for organizing the ceremony!
