JEF Golf Tournament Raises Big Bucks

What a wonderful day for golf at Brackenridge Golf Course. After an iffy week of weather, the clouds broke open blue skies and the greens dried out to be excellent.  We had so many great players out there...and some, well they had a great time and both were so important to the $40,000 that was raised for Judson Education Foundation scholarships and grants. There will be a lot of students and teachers that will benefit from all this.  A big thank you to all the sponsors, donors, players and of course a big high five to all the volunteers.

JEF Football Camp 2016

The 2016 Judson Education Foundation Youth Football Camp was again a great success. Rutledge Stadium played host to about 170 kids that were eager to learn from some great players and coaches.  Those instructing the kids ranged from former college players and coaches to former members of Judson Rocket title teams.  The kids got two days of beautiful weather that held up after all the rain and it turned out to be near perfect conditions.  What a way to learn to basics and the finer points of the great game of football. Thanks to all our sponsors, instructors and athletic department that made this possible.  The Judson Youth Sports provided 40 great volunteers to make this happen...more than $7,600 was raised for JEF scholarships and grants for students and teachers as a result of this camp....SUPER!

JEF's Scholarship Squad A Student Sensation!

The Judson Education Foundation works year 'round raising money for teacher grants and student scholarships, so when they get the chance each year to award student scholarships, they get PUMPED!  You can tell that even the students are excited...even though they still try to stay cool...they're stoked inside. Think about it, anywhere from $1,000 to several thousand dollars in scholarship money being awarded.  In the end, $37,500 in scholarships were awarded to 15 students at Judson, Wagner and JECA . Congratulations to these students and may they fulfill their academic ambitions at the next level.

Prize Parade, Helping Teachers In The Cla$$room

The Judson Education Foundation is always looking for ways to help teachers and students with grants and scholarships. Recently it went on its yearly Prize Parade to award teacher grants to innovative teachers who are looking for ways to make their instruction more engaging and relevant to students.  You know when they are on your campus just by the mere beat of the drumline that comes rumbling through the hallways heralding their arrival and the bearing of some wonderful grants to help out.  This year JEF awarded more than $37,000 in teacher grants to 28 teachers spread across 12 campuses.  We congratulate all of these teachers and we hope these resources will help as they plan and prepare for next year.
