Paschall ES Cooks for Ronald McDonald Families

National Elementary Honor Society students from Paschall Elementary School helped make it a little bit easier for some families who could really use a break.  Students cooked lunch for families who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House.  The facility is a home-away-from home where families can stay while their critically ill children receiving medical treatment in the San Antonio area.

JISD Well Represented at Flambeau Parade

Judson ISD was well represented during the Fiesta Flambeau Parade!  Both the Judson and Wagner High School Bands sounded and looked great.  In addition, the Wagner High School Color Guard presented the Colors at the V.I.P. Ceremony and got to meet the Grand Marshall and actress Willow Shields, who stared in the blockbuster film, “The Hunger Games.”  The Color Guard and other cadets from JROTC Program were noticed for their marching and motivation!  The Flambeau President, Robert Cuellar said they were excellent and he invited them to participate in the Veteran’s Day Parade.

Candlewood ES Walks for Autism

Teachers and students from Candlewood Elementary School participated in the Walk for Autism.  This was the 8th year for the event and it was held at the AT&T Center.
