Don't Forget Early Release On Last Day

We want to make sure all parents, guardians and staff members know about the student early release day.  An email was sent out several days ago from the district informing everyone about the last day of school being an early release day.  Below is a schedule for PK through High School regarding when each will be dismissed for the summer.  So don't forget...it'll make that summer feeling arrive that much sooner.  We hope you have a great summer and look forward to seeing students on the first day back on August 28, 2017.

On June 2, 2017, students will be dismissed according to the schedule below:

Pre-K (AM):7:30 AM – 9:10 AM
Pre-K (PM):9:50 AM – 11:30 AM
Elementary:11:30 AM
Middle School:12:15 PM
High School:1:00 PM

JISD Retiree Banquet, Thank You For Serving

A staff member who serves Judson ISD...especially for a long time, should have get a proper thank you.  The JISD Retiree Banquet focused on those who have served, but will be retiring from the education profession.  Their contributions are varied and have made an impact on students and staff.  This event at Olympia Hills Golf and Conference Center was a nice way of saying thank you and best wishes in the future.

Looking For A Summer Program Or Camp?

With summer vacation time right around the corner, there are a lot of summer academic and athletic programs within JISD to consider.  Take a look at the lineup and see what your interest is and dive into a summer of fun.  Please contact the appropriate school that is hosting the program or camp for additional information.

Two-Time State Poetry Champ!

Judson Theater Department took it's second State Championship this year in Poetry Interpretation.  Shade' Smith is without a doubt the undisputed State Champion for this category in both TFA and UIL.

Also, Jarred Jackson brought home second place in Prose at the same competition hosted on the campus of UT in Austin.  Congratulations to both students
