Crestview ES Recognized for Being a Distinguished School

Crestview Elementary School is being recognized by Region 20 for being named a Distinguished School of Texas.  A representative presented Dr. Gerhard, Principal, a certificate during the May Superintendents' Leaders meeting.  The Texas Education Agency awards this prestigious designation to Title I schools throughout Texas that have consistently demonstrated strong academic performances over a three-year period.  In addition, Distinguished Schools must have achieved an Exemplary Rating for the current school year and have a residing population of 40% or more low income students.  Congratulations on this huge honor!
