Judson ISD

It's School Board Appreciation Month!

January is School Board Recognition Month, and Judson ISD is joining other districts across the state to honor the countless contributions of our locally elected advocates for Texas schoolchildren and public schools.

School board members tackle a difficult job and shoulder enormous responsibilities. They are elected to establish the policies that provide the framework for our public schools. In addition, they provide vision and leadership in their roles as advocates.
Our district benefits from the tireless work and countless hours contributed by these local citizens who work without pay.

Renee Paschall is Board Vice President. She was elected to serve in May of 2015 as an At Large member. She is a former educator who has lived in the district for more than 30 years.

Board Secretary Jose Macias was elected to the board in 2010 and represents district 4. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran, a graduate of OLLU, and works as a non-profit administrator.

Richard LaFoille has served on the board since 2004 representing District 2. He's a U.S. Air Force veteran, retired and has lived in JISD for more than 40 years.

Debra Eaton is an Army veteran of 28 years and was elected to the board in 2017 serving District 3. She holds a Masters in Education and has been a JISD resident for more than 25 years.

Suzanne Kenoyer was elected in 2017 for District 1. She is a retired JISD teacher who has 23 years experience in the classroom and as a curriculum specialist. She's lived in JISD for 26 years.

Jennifer Rodriguez was elected in 2017 for District 5 and has lived in the district for more than 10 years. She has worked in education for 16 years both as a teacher and in teacher development.

Please take a moment and tell school board members thanks for caring about our children and giving so much to our community.

I know these days everyone is very busy but it takes a great person to give up so much of their personal life to do what you all do for this district so let me say: "You are highly appreciated".
Thank you for all you do!
