JISD Attends Texas Social Workers Conference

The social workers that work with our students and their families are an awesome part of how the District provides positive and beneficial services to our community. They are always learning new ways to help our kids. Judson ISD social workers attended the 27th Annual Texas School Social Workers Conference in Austin. The conference was developed to provide school-based service providers a wide array of effective techniques and programs to enhance their work in schools as they meet the challenges found in today’s school settings. The participants gained new strategies and tools to empower children, parents and school personnel.
