Judson Administrators Attend Texas School Safety Conference

In an ongoing effort to keep all of our schools safe, Judson ISD administrators recently attended the Texas School Safety Conference in Corpus Christi. This years theme was “Partnering Today for a Safer Tomorrow.” The conference featured nationally renowned speakers and informative breakout sessions that offered evidence-based practices, resources and information on the most relevant components of school safety and security. In addition to a robust lineup of quality speakers, the conference schedule provided opportunities for administrators to share information with colleagues across all disciplines involved in keeping our schools safe.

Judson Middle School Assistant Principal, Greg Brauer, was recognized during the conference for his outstanding efforts in the category of Staff/Faculty Development and Training from the School Safety Spotlight Program. Other Judson ISD administrators attending the conference were: Marcus Anthony (Director of Pupil Services), Melissa McDowell-Callaway (Judson High School Assistant Principal), Christine Trevino (Paschall Elementary Assistant Principal), Blas Arce (Wagner High School Assistant Principal) and John Griffin (Woodlake Hills Middle School Assistant Principal, not pictured).
