Judson Auto Tech Students Wow Harley Davidson

Judson Student Auto Tech Team with Mr. Salinas and H.D. Representatives Randy Pennington and Lance Demming

Harley Davidson has been around a long time and they know motorcycles...REALLY know motorcycles. They recently recognized a team of Judson High School students from the Auto Technician Program for this super cool bike they built with the supervision of their instructor Sergio Salinas. They were one of six teams selected in a contest called Battle of the Kings placing in the Chop Classification. Seniors Jacob Edwards, Brendon Klotz, and Deontae Ferguson teamed up with junior Caleb Munoz to build this bike. Their creation placed in a "people's choice" stage of the contest that drew votes from all over. Now the bike moves from the virtual contest to compete in a National Contest in July in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The prize for getting to this level is a $2,000 voucher from Harley Davidson for a set of SnapOn tools and five motorcycle driving lessons. How cool is that! What a great experience these students are getting. Mr. Salinas has really worked with them well. Congratulations and good luck
