Judson ISD

Judson HS FCCLA Heading to State

Congratulations to Judson High School's FCCLA and Child Guidance students.  They took home 4th place honors for a project they created for the Methodist Children's Hospital.  They made star pillows for sick children and had them make a wish, stuff their pillows and then decorate them.  The idea was to help create hope in a child's life when sometimes hope has been lost.  The project stemmed from research students did, that shows therapeutic play is a vital element in the healing process.  Carissa Topete and Katie Martinez will take their project to the state competition in April.
