Judson ISD Police Chief Honored

A lot of us know Judson ISD Police Chief Teresa Gonzalez as being an energetic and warm person, but she also gets her job done and done well.  Others are seeing it too.  "Chief" was honored at the Mary Espiritu Scholarship Luncheon as being one of the "Outstanding Hispanic Women Role Models."  Along with running a police department that covers a lot of ground in the district, she takes time to help out other folks when they need it. She accepted the honor at a ceremony downtown along with a "Yellow Rose of Texas" award signed by Governor Rick Perry. The "Yellow Rose" award is an honor given to those who have a significant impact on their community.  That certainly fits Chief Gonzalez.  She was accompanied at the ceremony with her parents Nabor and Yolanda Gonzalez.  Congratulations Chief!!
