Judson MS Music Students Place In Region

Congratulations to the students in the music program at Judson Middle School and JSTEM Academy.  The school placed a number of students in the Region Band, Choir and Orchestra. Eleven students represented the JMS band at the Region 12 band performance at Johnson HS. Clarinet student Madalynn Lambert earned a spot in Band 1.Congratulations to the band directors, Mr. Ruben Escamilla and Mr. Ian Anderson.

Choir had three representatives from JMS for the first time in four years. Congratulations to Mr. Robert Neal Williams on a fantastic job building the choir program. Region choir took place at Judson HS. Two hundred and fifty students represented their schools in three different choirs out of over a thousand students that auditioned.

Orchestra had a record breaking fourteen students that made it in to the region orchestra. Two students took the 1st chair principal player honors: Anthony Hickman; 7th grade bass and Patrick Coder; 8th grade viola. The Orchestra Region Concert was hosted at Reagan High School.
