Judson's Mobile App Gets National Attention

Judson I.S.D. is the FIRST area school district to develop it's own mobile app and that's gotten the attention of state technology experts and national media. While Chief Technology officer Steve Young presents at a special statewide workshop in Austin, the national web news organization the Huffington Post is requesting to do a piece about the groundbreaking application. The upcoming report will highlight the app's proactive anti-bullying feature. Bullying has become a national concern and this high tech way of reporting can be a big help. Along with this capability, the app keeps parents and students in touch with news, events and scores. This app was developed by Judson I.S.D.'s technology and web departments and is free for both Apple and Android formats. The link is at the bottom of the Judson I.S.D. home webpage.

Congratulations to our tech department and all the hardworking individuals who made the app possible. We have an awesome IT group at JISD.
