Leadership Being Grown Today at Kitty Hawk

The leaders for tomorrow are being grown today and here at Judson ISD, at least one of those leaders is coming from Kitty Hawk Middle School. Kendra Smith is an 8th grader at Kitty Hawk and she just completed her SkillsUSA Statesman Award at the SkillsUSA Texas Summer Leadership training at Mo Ranch.  Kendra was accompanied by her advisor Julian Acevedo who also served as a District 11 officer for the event.  Kendra got up early for flag raising ceremonies and sometimes stayed up late into the evening for different leadership training, but she hung in there knowing that what she learned will be used at the district level and qualifies her for the Washington Leadership Training Institute. That will provide advanced training in learning the skills to be top notch at work, school, in the community and personally.
