Miller's Point Visits The Biggest Science Classroom

Studying adaptations in Birds of a Feather

The Miller's Point Jets airmailed themselves to the biggest science classroom...nature. At Twin Lakes Science Camp in Cedar Park students recently got their hands dirty with some exciting science classes. The curriculum included Life at Camp, Web of Life, Birds of a Feather, and Cycles and Water Ecology.  Along with those engrossing concepts to explore, students also studied the impact of math on science when they stepped into kayaks or hit the center of an archery target.  To wrap up the event, students practiced their communication and team-building with a debate and taking on the high and low ropes course. What a day!
