Month Of The Military Child Extravaganza

Military students make family sacrifices that few others make...all to protect the freedoms and way of life in our country.  Judson ISD is presenting Month of the Military Child Extravaganza on April 30th.  These students will be recognized for their commitment, contributions and their personal sacrifices.  While military students are strong, they still need support through challenges that may not be addressed because their parent is deployed...or just serving away from the family.  This event is to pause and recognize our military connected students for their accomplishments and encourage them any way we can.  Join us April 30th at the Judson High School cafeteria at 6 pm.

The "Month of the Military Child" was excellent, as it provided an introduction to and description of military families in the JISD. It explained the "military culture" of the family and the hardships that they endure. Also, it focused on education and promoted college as a goal to strive for all students.

Ms. Hildebrand has the ability to unite many facets of the diistrict with the community and promote higher learning. She is sensitive to the needs of the families that she serves.

It is my hope that the program has much success and that parent become more involved in JISD educational programs.

I would like to be invited to more program in the future.
