Plant A Tree, Make A Difference

Arbor Day is a National Observance that officially falls on the last Friday in April, but many states celebrate it at different times of the year based on the best tree planting time in their geographic region.  Teachers and students from Crestview Elementary along with Cub Scout Troop 323 and board members of Live Oak Park put their muscle together recently to replant native trees in Live Oak Park.  More than 200 trees were planted in observance of Arbor Day and in concert with other schools in the city that participated in Project ACORN. Thanks to everyone that put in the sweat equity to make help out.

Absolutely amazing! Crestview teachers, students and the Crestview community working together is what it's all about. I am so proud!
