Rolling Meadows' Little Library Makes It On Air

KSAT Visits Rolling Meadows ES

(L-R) Isabella Garza, Brilyn Bridges, Marion Harris and NEHS Sponsors/Teachers Lea Ann Hrncir-Earnest and Kathy Whitlock

Members of the National Junior Honor Society at Rolling Meadows Elementary School will be appearing on a news segment on KSAT-TV Friday, September 29th.  The story is a follow up piece on what the students built and unveiled to honor and remember Dawn Mulder, a special librarian who passed away suddenly about a year ago.  They created what can be described as a "Little Library" where books and reviews can be shared with others.  It's located at the Selma Stage Stop Park.  The sharing point is a way the school and the students can carry on her memory through encouraging others to read and breed a love for stories which is the very thing Ms. Mulder did so well.

The story is scheduled to air on Friday, September 29th during their 9 am local news and community events show and again during the 6 pm newscast.  We'll put a link in this post after the story airs and KSAT's website publishes it.
