School Nurse Day, Celebrating Their Care

Kitty Hawk Nurse Patty Lemley

It's never fun to be sick, especially when you're at school.  From upset stomachs and fevers to scrapes or cuts, the school nurse is someone who can make those rather unpleasant incidents more tolerable. There's even a good chance they may make you feel a whole lot better.  National School Nurse Day recognizes those professionals who are the bridge between healthcare and education and who work each day collaborating to build healthier communities.  On this day, May 8, 2019, say thank you to the nurse who serves students at your campus. They support our kids when they need it the most.

Nurse Lewis has been here for 2 1/2 and has blending in very well. She has used her skills in various ways to educated us (2 Health Aides) in learning and increasing our medical skills. She is an awesome asset the Judson High School and we are happy to have her.
