Judson ISD

Student Volunteers In The Community

It seems that Judson ISD students are so busy in so many corners of our community making an impact.  One effort that teaches students ways to serve the community through vocational and volunteer opportunities is the Adult Years Vocational Program. Students Steve Rodriguez, Jr. and Dorian Morales volunteered their time and effort to help out at the recent re-opening of the Converse Public Library.  JISD employee Chris Minor is the coach and mentor for these students and encourages them and others to be involved in the community to make it better.

Dignitaries also at the event were Converse Mayor Al Suarez and Maranatha Bible Church Pastor Dr. Rander Draper.

Congratulations Mr. Minor for a job well done, that you do on the scene and in the classroom with the kids in AYVP on a daily basis. Thank you for loving what you do, because it shows through the kids.
