TSI Summer Bridge Preparing Students

TSI Summer Bridge is preparing about 200 incoming 9th grade students participating in JECA, TSTEM, Healthcare, Cybersecurity and Texas Core Complete to take the TSI Assessment. The Texas Success Initiative Assessment, better known as the TSI test, is a program which determines the appropriate level of college course work for an incoming student. The test consists of three separate exams: Mathematics, Reading, and Writing. The TSI Assessment is a requirement of students taking dual credit high school courses. Many of these students will be able to obtain college credit as early as their freshman year in high school. The program started on June 5th and runs until June 20th at Copperfield Elementary.
