Last week our JISD Special Olympics Head of Delegation, Edward Waring, and his team organized the 15th Annual Letterman Jacket & Awards Ceremony.
The ceremony was held in a beautifully decorated ERC boardroom where parents, teachers, and administrators came to celebrate these truly amazing students.

The ceremony recognized the athletes who have earned their letterman jackets by participating in 4 state-level SOTX (Special Olympics Texas) events.

They also recognized unsung heroes, our JISD staff, parents & community organizations that make meaningful contributions to our program.
