Judson Education Foundation host annual Wobble ’N Gobble and Community Feast
This year’s Thanksgiving Wobble ’N Gobble, sponsored by the Judson Education Foundation (JEF), proved to be an outstanding success, with an incredible turnout that warmed our hearts and our community. On this day of gratitude and giving, a remarkable 400 runners laced up their sneakers to participate in the 5K race, all with one goal in mind: to support education in our community.
The race was not just about athletic competition; it was a symbol of unity and philanthropy. Participants of all ages and abilities came together, demonstrating their commitment to our cause. Awards were given, cheers were exchanged, and spirits were high as the 5K runners completed the route around Wagner HS, knowing that their efforts were contributing to the betterment of our community through the Judson Education Foundation.
But the day didn’t end there. After the race, an astounding 1,400 people gathered for the Community Feast, creating an atmosphere of warmth and togetherness that truly captured the essence of Thanksgiving. The feast was more than just a meal; it was a manifestation of community support.
Delicious food was served while enjoying the musical performances of Judson ISD students, ensuring that everyone in attendance enjoyed a hearty Thanksgiving meal, regardless of their circumstances. Families, friends, and neighbors gathered around tables, sharing stories and laughter, celebrating the true spirit of the holiday.
The JEF Wobble ’n Gobble proves that when a community comes together, it can achieve remarkable things. The 400 runners and 1,400 feast attendees demonstrated their commitment to supporting education and spreading love and kindness throughout our community.
This event serves as a reminder that the spirit of Thanksgiving is not just about turkey and trimmings; it’s about giving back, embracing one another, and showing gratitude for the blessings we share. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors who made this event possible and look forward to the continued growth and success of our community in the coming years. Together, we can make a difference.
