The Federal Impact Aid Program was designed to assist local school districts that have lost property tax revenue due to the presence of tax-exempt federal property, or that have experienced increased expenditures due to the enrollment of federally connected children. Eligibility for funding is determined each school year through the Federal Impact Aid Survey Form.
Federal financial assistance is available to our district from the Impact Aid Program that directly impacts your child’s education by providing replacement funding for operating expenses such as materials, equipment, teachers, special education programming, and building improvements, as part of the general funding of the district.
Federal Impact Aid Survey forms will be sent home on October 25, 2019. Review the form carefully to see if your work or living situation applies to the survey. If so complete, sign, and return to your child’s school by November 8, 2019. Be assured all information is only used to support our request for federal funds under the Impact Aid Program.
