A Cowboy Breakfast To Welcome Back JISD Staff
It was a brand new way of welcoming back JISD staff after the much needed Christmas break...A Cowboy Breakfast! This was the idea of CFO Bill Atkins. Hot food, hot coffee, and warm conversations and hugs from people you haven't seen in a while. The warmth was definitely needed with a cold breeze blowing at Rutledge, but it didn't diminish the fun and yummy food.
Staff began arriving at 7 am via personal cars or school buses that picked up staff at the campuses with the sausage, biscuits, egg burritos, and coffee flowing freely among all the conversation, music, photos and yes...even some dancing that broke out for a while.
A big thank you for all the organizers and cooks that began preps in the wee hours of the morning to make it all happen at the Rutledge corral.
