Back in the fall of 2019, the Alamo Promise program was announced to much excitement. Two years of free tuition to Judson and Wagner seniors at any Alamo College Campus. As a part of the initial announcement, Dr. Ball threw out a challenge for seniors at both schools for 100 percent of their class to sign up for Alamo Promise. Well, Wagner High School was the very first high school in San Antonio to reach 100 percent of the senior class to sign up! With a no obligation option if a student gets an offer at a four-year school, it's a no lose proposition, but you can't sign up after the deadline.
Well, the prize for reaching the 100 percent mark was the announcement that all those who signed up will have their graduation cap and gown paid for the big day. Congratulations Wagner High School for being the first 100 percent Alamo Promise school!
