Four Years Running...JECA Earns All Distinctions
Earning all possible distinctions that the Texas Education Agency offers is truly an accomplishment, but when a school does it 4 years in a row, there's truly something special going on. That's the case at Judson Early College Academy where the school hosted a special 7-Star Ceremony celebrating the latest accomplishment of receiving the highest marks possible from TEA.
Dr. Ball, JISD Board President Rene' Paschall, Vice President Suzanne Kenoyer, and Board Member Debra Eaton were on hand to witness the event. What was really unique is that everyone connected with the school was recognized...from the nutrition workers, custodians, teachers and all the rest of the staff because they know it's a team effort. Principal Dr. Josephine Juarez was the Master of Ceremonies and recognized everyone who works and supports the school.
The fourth TEA plaque recognizing the achievement was unveiled by Dr. Ball and Dr. Juarez and placed on the table with the other three with plans for a fifth one. The ceremony was capped off with the unveiling of a special student-created mural by the school's art club that depicts the essence of JECA's four pillars. Congratulations Judson Early College Academy...your incredible reputation continues to grow.
