Social workers are an integral part of the counseling services that Judson ISD provides. The District wanted to show its appreciation to these individuals who are in the trenches each day helping students, families, and even staff members with all sorts of social and emotional challenges. They also work with numerous agencies that provide help for people who are reaching out for assistance and make that connection to ease the burden those people face.
JISD provided a nice luncheon at the ERC Board Room recently as a part of showing appreciation for what they do each day. Deputy Superintendent Becky Robinson and Director of Guidance and Counseling Monica Garcia briefly talked with the group and number of the social worker staff members shared ideas and even individual initiatives going on at their campus. Thank you for your service.
