JISD's Summer Meal Service

Summer Food Program

SUMMER MEALS BEGIN Monday, June 1st, 2020

Judson ISD continues to work to meet the nutritional needs of students during June. Grab-and-go breakfasts and lunches are available at no charge to students age 18 and under and to students who continue to be enrolled in school past the age of 18 but under the age of 21, and who are identified as disabled through a special education program.

Summer Feeding 2020:  Beginning Monday, June 1st, summer meals will be served at several locations in the Judson district.  Students do not have to be present to pick up meals, but a parent or guardian must show one of the following documents.  Acceptable documents are:  a student report card per child, a student ID per child, attendance record from parent portal of school website, official letter/email from school listing children enrolled, or birth certificate per child. The child does not have to be a Judson ISD student.  If the student is present at meal pickup, no identification is necessary.

There will be one pickup time.  Both breakfast and lunch will be provided between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.  Curbside meal packages “to go” can be picked up on Monday through Thursday.  Meals can be picked up from one of the following sites:  Hopkins ES, Rolling Meadows ES, Metzger MS, Woodlake Hills MS, Wagner HS, Judson HS, Hartman ES, and the Converse Library (JISD’s Bus ‘n Meals).  The library location will serve meals between 11:00 and noon.  Due to COVID-19 precautions, families are advised to stay in their cars during pick up.  Families that walk to the campus or bus will also be served “to go” meals.

Summer Food Service Program will end August 20th.
