JEF gives back over $170,000
The Judson Education Foundation (JEF) announced on Monday October 5th to all full-time staff that they will be receiving a $50 gift card and all campuses will receive a $100 gift card to go towards innovative learning.
“This year has been like no other and Judson ISD staff continues to make the commitment and demonstrate how they go above and beyond. So, this year we have the opportunity to give them a small token of appreciation” Says Dr. Jeanette Ball.
The JEF board decided in the spring semester to move the grant cycles to the fall and instead of only selected teachers and principals to receive funds JEF decided for ALL teachers and principals to receive funds. The giving didn’t stop there, JEF partnered with H-E-B and mark Gravely from Gravely attorneys & Counselors to allow ALL full-time staff to receive a $50 gift card.
The total funds distributed were $171,500. “We hope to make a difference with each employee, they all do so much for our students JEF wanted to make sure each one of them knew how appreciative we are for them – we are honored to have such a hard-working staff.” Said, Lexie Greathouse, Executive director of the Judson Education Foundation.
