The Judson FFA Program Hosted Inaugural Judson Agriculture Exposition

The Judson FFA Agriculture Science Teachers, Judson FFA Alumni, and the students were hard at work this fall putting together the Inaugural Judson Agriculture Exposition (JAE) here at Judson High School.  This was the first year for the show and to call it a success is an understatement but, this could not have been done without the continuous support of Dr. Ball, Principal Hernandez, and all other administration of JISD.  We would also like to extend a special thank you to the JISD Maintenance Department for helping prep the grounds and hang banners for the JAE show, they worked tirelessly beforehand to ensure the facility looked great.
“This has always been a dream to put this magnitude of a show together for the Judson FFA program to include other aspects like ag mechanics and not just limit it to animal projects,” says Lead Advisor, Jay Trees.  JAE was developed and a plan was put into place with a little over 2 months of time to enact and have our first show; through collaboration with community leaders and partners, Judson FFA was able to raise enough funds to award our students who participated over $40,000 and prizes for their agriculture mechanics, handicrafts, and animal projects that were exhibited on December 10-12, 2020.   Judson FFA has had several influential people that have been by the program's side for many years and were honored at the sponsorship luncheon.  JAE was created in honor of retired JHS agriculture teacher, Patrick Real, and was dedicated to Robert Kneupper, a Judson FFA Alumni Member, former student, and continuous supporter of the program.  Thank you to everyone who helped make the Judson Agriculture Exposition a success!
