JISD Celebrates Spirit of Judson, Years of Service, Distinguished Educators and Novice Teachers
The human resources department held a special ceremony to honor four different groups of individuals who have dedicated their careers to Judson ISD. A special parade was organized, where principals, district staff, senior staff members, board members Suzanne Kenoyer and Superintendent Dr. Ball cheered and celebrated. At the same time, honorees drove up to receive their award and a dinner ( to-go) while their award was being recognized over a loudspeaker. We are honored to celebrate you - Spirit of Judson, Years of Service, Distinguished Educators, and Novice Teachers, congratulations to all the individuals who make our district shine.
When you have high-quality employees who are consistently doing outstanding work, they don't necessarily want the spotlight. But they do need to be recognized for their sake and for those who look up to them. They are examples. They are by no means the only outstanding employees in the district but a good cross-section of why excellence is being produced every day. Thank you and congratulations to these employees...they deserve to be among the stars. They're the Spirit of Judson.
Our Distinguished Educators are outstanding people always going above and beyond their daily obligations. Their leadership on campus is distinguishable as well as their contributions to the school community and district.
Service Awards are awarded to a unique person with a special heart to serve as long in education as some have served in Judson ISD. Employees who have been in the district for 20+ years were honored at the event. The longest time of service went to Ms. Susan McIlhenny for her 45 years of service!
The Novice teacher award is selected by each campus, honoring their young teacher with three or fewer years of teaching experience that has shown excellence in the classroom with their students. We want to encourage all of these educators to continue doing such great work...especially right here in Judson ISD.
Congratulations again to all of our honorees as we celebrate you for all your hard work and dedication to our district.
