- Judson Independent School District
Every year Judson ISD hosts an all staff convocation to get the entire staff together and prepare for the upcoming school year. Although we all had planned to getherin person, plans quickly shifted to keep everyone's health in mind and a virtual convocation was held.
The theme for the 2021-2022 school year is “Unlock the Leader In You”, while keeping the theme staff heard messages from JISD Superintendent and Board President on how each person has the capability to become a leader. Dr. ET shared some powerful stories during her keynote speech sharing how each person on a campus or in a district can impact a students and their families life.
During our virtual convocation experience our principals played Judson ISD Jeopardy. JISD principals were fighting to see who could not only answer correctly but also the fastest.
At the end of the game JECA and Kirby MS were at the top of the Leaderboard, but it was Kirby MS who ended up taking the spirit stick back to their campus. The spirit stick will stay at their campus during the 2021-2022 school year and will be passed to a different campus next school year.
Congratulations again to Kirby Middle School/JLA and to Mrs. Sue Arredondo for capturing the spirit stick.
Below are a few photos of their spirit stick presentation.
Another challenge was made to staff to submit photos via social media using the hashtag #JISDUnlockTheLeaderInYou.This giveaway was possible with the help of our friends from H-E-B. They donated the baskets as a token of appreciation for all the hard work Judson ISD will be doing this school year.
The following are our winners
