District announces 8 new Campus Leadership Program schools
Dr. Destiny Barrera, Director of Leadership Development, along with current CLP campus principals, surprised and announced 8 new campuses to participate in the Campus Leadership Program (CLP) with The Holdsworth Center. Founded in 2017, the Holdsworth Center is a non-profit organization by H-E-B Chairman and CEO Charles Butt, built to "strengthen the leaders who serve educators and students."
Judson ISD is part of a five-year partnership with The Holdsworth Center and will enter its fourth year of this partnership in the 22-23 school year. Part of the partnership provides selected campuses a two-year learning journey with the Campus Leadership Program (CLP). During this time, district leaders will join other campuses from around the state to deepen their leadership skills while tackling a Problem of Practice, a significant challenge tied to student outcomes. They work with teams because it helps to grow more leaders at each school and gives principals real-life opportunities to practice empowering others.
Judson ISD is proud to announce this year’s 8 selections for The Holdsworth Campus Leadership Program (CLP):
